In Karnataka, woman brushes teeth with rat poison, dies

In a shocking incident reported from Malpe in Karnataka, a woman died after she accidentally brushed her teeth with rat poison instead of toothpaste. According to the Malpe police, the deceased has been identified as Leela Karkera. The woman probably could not make out the difference between a toothpaste tube and the rat poison tube.

UDUPI: In a shocking incident reported from Malpe, a woman died after she accidentally brushed her teeth with rat poison instead of toothpaste.
According to the Malpe police, where an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) has been registered, the deceased has been identified as Leela Karkera, 57, a resident of Malpe.
On November 19, at 5am, she accidentally applied rat poison on the toothbrush and brushed her teeth.

She probably could not make out the difference between a toothpaste tube and the rat poison tube. She was immediately rushed to a private hospital for treatment. She was declared dead on Sunday.
